People already in Italy with another permit who want a work or self-employment permit.
Requirements
- Study permits can usually be converted to subordinate or self-employment permits; the decree may set quota rules (VERIFY).
- Seasonal workers can convert to non-seasonal work in some cases (VERIFY).
- Family permits already allow work and usually need no conversion.
- Tourist visas and short stays cannot be converted.
